Mid Wharfedale Parish Council is a grouping of the smaller parishes of Nesfield-with-Langbar, Middleton, Denton, Askwith and Weston. The area is part of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is a protected landscape featuring several Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
