Report an Issue
Members of the public can report highways and rights of way issues and concerns directly with North Yorkshire Council using the following links:
- Report a non-emergency grass cutting, vegetation or verge issue
- Report a non-emergency pothole or road condition issue, obstruction or spillage (including oil, mud or debris)
- Report a rights of way issue
If the issue is causing an immediate danger to the safety of road users, it is classed as an emergency. Residents should contact NYC by telephone to report an emergency on 0300 131 2 131, rather than using the online form. Opening hours are Monday and Tuesday 9am to 5pm; Wednesday 9.30am to 5pm; Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
